Objectives:
(1) Describe ionizing and introduce and use new terms.
Lesson:
(1) Collect Lewis dot diagram. (2) Name new areas of periodic table (transition metals, line separating metals from non-metals, metalloids, cation, anion, action of atoms to produce cations and anions). (3) Describe action of atoms to form cations and anions. (4) cations and anions attracte each other because they are opposite charges.
Assignment:
(1) Students complete term list (term, korean word, definition). (2) Students make puzzle using 3x4 boxes on A4 paper (a 12 square grid). Make the edge of EVERY square has a term and a definition on it!
