DAILY OBJECTIVES:  

(1)  Assess understanding of how heat transfers in conduction and convection.

LESSON:

D block:  (1)  Students build powerpoint explaining the two types or kinds of energy and at least three unique forms or kinds of each energy category. Due Monday, February 11, 2008.  

F block:  (1) Formative assessment in class (2)  [This class did NOT do "Too hot o Handle Lab."]

ASSIGNMENT:

D block:  (1)  Completed presentation due beginning of first class after lunar break.  Presentation should include at least 8 slides; 2 slides identifying types of energy and then 3 examples of each energy type.  Each slide should be labeled (what kind of energy is it?), each slide should have a brief explanation of the type of energy, and each slide should have a graphic which represents the title of the slide.
