Absolute Zero 2
Instruction modifications: If you do not have the half graphs, make a graph. The y-axis must extend from "zero" at the bottom and up to the highest temperature you are measuring. The x axis must extend from -300 to +300 degrees Celsius. (Yes; that long!)
3. a) "Extrapolate" means to use your two data points to draw a straight line until it reaches the x-axis.
3. b) "How close" means, "what is the difference between your x-axis intercept and the ideal value?"
3. b) "What limits..." is asking you to explain what prevented you from gathering more accurate values? What could you change to improve the data you gathered?
4. You may do question 4 as a thought experiment (ie. without actually putting corn seeds into a bag). Describe how a bag with corn seeds inside could model absolute zero.
