I spent 1998 - 2007 teaching in Toledo, Washington where I tried multiple times in a variety of ways to develop a state standard friendly curriculum for grade 9 and 10 in science. Part of the problem was that I kept coming up with new ideas and news ways to organize the information. Nonetheless, the document below were the Washington state standards when we left Washington in summer 2007 to teach at an international school in Korea.
